Fees

Included in meet fee of $100 is entry into the open or a single division and a meet tee shirt.

Additional divisions may be selected at an additional cost of $50 per division.

Eligibility

  • This meet is open to all currently registered USAPL members. To purchase a membership see the link below.

  • Participants and volunteers must fill out and sign the USAPL's Express Assumption of Risk, Release of Claims and Liability and Indemnity Agreement. List the event as Seattle Summer Classic. You must fill this out and sign before you proceed to register.

Drug Testing 

Minimum 10% of participants will be drug tested by urinalysis.

You must be drug free for at least 36 months prior to the date of this meet to be eligible to compete. Banned substances include but are not limited to anabolic steroids and growth hormones. The complete list of banned substances is available on the web site of the World Anti-Doping Agency available on the web site of the World Anti-Doping Agency (see www.WADA-ama.org).

Additional Divisions Offered

  • Teen (age groups – T1: 14-15, T2: 16-17, T3: 18-19)

  • Junior (age group: 20-23)

  • Masters (age group: M1: 40-49; M2: 50-59; M3: 60-69; M4: 70 and over)

Note: Master’s divisions will follow IPF standards for age divisions

YOUTH DIVISION WILL NOT BE OFFERED FOR THIS MEET

Required Equipment

  • Singlet

  • T-shirt (100% cotton, no V-neck, no pockets)

  • Knee-high socks for the deadlift

  • Brief-type non-supportive underwear

  • Athletic shoes

Optional for raw competition: belt; wrist wraps; and neoprene knee sleeves.

One piece lifting suits/singlets are mandatory for all contestants. Non supportive briefs without legs must be worn during the competition.
